Gynaecological Sonologist

Dr Chantelle Yam is an Obstetric and Gynaecological Sonologist and Specialist Obstetrician who provides procedural expertise at Flinders Fertility.

After completing her medical degree at the University of Adelaide, Chantelle undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across multiple centres in South Australia, Northern Territory and Auckland. She then returned to train within the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit at the Women's and Children's Hospital whilst completing her Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound. In addition to her work at Flinders Fertility, Chantelle also works as a Sonologist at Adelaide Women’s Imaging and holds a Staff Specialist appointment at Flinders Medical Centre, where she serves as the Clinical Lead of the high-risk Collaborative Maternity Care Service. 

Known for her calm, compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail, Chantelle helps to ensure all patients are well informed and comfortable during their procedures.
