Dr Gavin holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) and a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. She has completed the Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) and further advanced her expertise through the Sexual and Reproductive Health Program (SCHP).
Before joining Flinders Fertility, Amy worked extensively in women’s health and sexual and reproductive medicine, including integrative medicine and general practice roles throughout South Australia. Her holistic, preventative approach and her experience managing complex women’s health concerns provide a strong foundation for her work in fertility care.
At Flinders Fertility, Amy offers comprehensive consultations in fertility assessment, ovulatory disorders, egg freezing, metabolic and obesity-related fertility issues, and sexual and reproductive health optimisation for both women and men. She is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-informed care and supporting patients through every stage of their fertility journey, from pre-treatment counselling and fertility optimisation through to assisted reproductive technologies.
Amy takes the time to understand each patient’s story, medical background, and fertility goals, ensuring that every care plan is truly individualised rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach. She is particularly passionate about integrating metabolic health, lifestyle modification and reproductive endocrinology to help patients achieve the best possible fertility outcomes.
